Putting Around Arizona

Local Living

PGA Tour notables such as Jordan Spieth, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka will be taking on the infamous 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on February 7th through 13th. In Southern Arizona, the PGA Champions Tour will be teeing it up at the Cologuard Classic at Omni Tucson National resort, starting on February 21st. The pros know February is the perfect month in Arizona for golfing - here are several courses you need to consider for your next tee time:

Golf Courses in Southern Arizona:

Tucson is also home to many beautiful golf courses with unique desert landscapes, challenging elevations, and picturesque views. Starr Pass Golf Club, located on the west side of Tucson, is a 27-hole Arnold Palmer designed track. This set of courses was also home to the Tucson Open between 1987 and 1996. To experience a course on the northeast side of Tucson, Arizona National Golf Club, nestled in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, regularly features favorable rates. Finally, the Golf Club at Dove Mountain is the former home of the WGC Accenture Match Play, located in Marana. This course is quite long, over 7,500 yards, so be sure to have your driver ready.

Golf Courses in Scottsdale/Phoenix:

The Scottsdale area is home to many breathtaking golf courses such as We-Ko-Pa, Grayhawk, and TPC Scottsdale. Each of these courses has been named world-class by Golf Magazine, Golfweek, and Golf Digest. These courses offer a once in a lifetime type of experience for any golf aficionado. But, you don't necessarily need to drop big bucks to enjoy all the golf gems Arizona has to offer. Papago is considered one of the best public courses in our state and is the perfect course to enjoy during February.
